Fluid, in terms of air, is what powers Pneumatic Lifts. When air is pressurized or compressed, it is able to create mechanical movement directed upwards which is simply called pneumatics. The technology of Pneumatic Lifts is commonly used to power industrial tools and equipments such as pneumatic drills, pneumatic mechanical hammers, air pumps, cable jets and pneumatic lift tables.

Compared to Hydraulic Lifts, which uses power from incompressible fluid like oil, Pneumatic Lifts offer more advantages in terms of performance and safety.

Pneumatic Lifts have simpler designs than Hydraulic Lifts because of their less complex structure of pumps and cylinders. Also, due to this design, Pneumatic Lifts are easier to operate with the simple clicking of the on and off button.

Pneumatic Lifts have been tested and proven to last longer than Hydraulic Lifts. And in addition, Pneumatic Lifts are easier to maintain than Hydraulic Lifts. Ease of maintenance of Pneumatic Lifts is credited to its source of power, the air. Since this type of fluid is compressible, it is able to take in strong forces compared to hydraulic power which directly passes shock to the equipment.

And in terms of safety, Pneumatic Lifts are better because they are not flammable compared with oil-powered Hydraulic Lifts.
